Once Upon A Time...
On a dark and lonely road, Lady Rhiad of the Ryding Hoode's met a Wolfe on the way to her grandmother's house. Though she knew her grandmother's intentions were good, she could not help but feel betrayed. After all, what sort of grandmother offers her own grand-daughter up to be made a meal of by a hungry predator - even if said predator was completely human and fed solely on the virtue of innocents?
Still, Rhiad cannot deny being tempted to bait the delightfully cunning Lord Wolfe. His every move tempts her, every word makes her yearn. Would it truly be so bad to surrender herself, body and soul, to the heat in his gaze, the pleasure of his bite?
Does the tale of Rhiad Hoode and Damien Wolfe end in fiery passion or perhaps there is something else? Maybe something in red?

A well written, funny and suspenseful short story with a couple of twists. Although about Red and the wolf, this isn't the fairy tale I read 52 years ago, but I like it just as well. Ms. Dobbs is one of my favorite authors, her books are always worth reading.Product details

Cute story. Enjoyed it. Love new takes on the classic fairy tales. Like this authors other works. Will follow her.
I enjoyed reading this version of a very well known fairy tale. It was well written and I look forward to reading more books by this author.
Two stars for being too short only. A different take on a fairy tale that uses original story as a point of interest.
I really enjoyed this sweet grown up fairy tale. It was a fun read that could have been a little longer. But I liked it as a "romantic take me away moment". )
It took maybe. Half-hour to read. I do love short stories but this was to short. It had WONDERFUL potential. I'm not sure if it was free or.99. The characters were good.
A little twist the fairy tale, setting it in the Regency period.
I found the story to be cute, and there was a tiny touch of heat between our main characters.

A cute re-telling of the classic Little Red Riding Hood. What can I say I love a good fairy tale and this was no exception. I just wish it would have been longer and there had been more umph to the characters. I think it started in the middle of the tale and there was something I was missing. Don't get me wrong I liked it but, if there was a little more I probably would have loved it.
