This story is from Kendall's and Alek's POV. Some of the story seemed somewhat repetitive if you have read the other books in the series, but could be a plus for those of us who like to skip around in a series and not read the books in order. Kendall's father lost her in a game of cards (as he loses everything else) and she was sold without her consent to Galaxy Brides. When her drugging wears off and she realizes what has happened she begins to panic and is filled with worry what her father has done the same thing to her little sister, Margot. Kendall begs and begs her new husband, Alek to fly her back home so she can take care of her personal matters and explains that she just couldn't stay married to him despite the chemistry brewing between the two of them. Alek is the all around sweet dragon-shifter that has a very hard time verbally expressing his emotions until he feels it might be the only thing left he can try to do to convince Kendall that he truly loves her and can't live without her. The story was good but at times I kept feeling like I've already read this book before and caught myself skimming the pages to get to something I had not already discovered through reading the previous books. No new revelations made within the plot of the story in this book but it was still nice to see the development of Alek's relationship with Kendall. With all of that being said I still want to discover how the plot of the story will play out and fully plan on reading the other books as they come out.

i liked aeronshe felt like she had to save the Qurilixian planet,she thought they were in danger of an attack from another species,her sister riona and her signedup for the bride ship,even though they didn`t want to marry, Lord Bronhas been for 7 seasons now without any luck of finding his mate,he was at this one to see the brides because it was his duty,but he didn`t have
any hope to find her,all at once his emblem started to glow,he knew she was there,so he was looking at them to find his bride.
He saw Aeron walking down the walk way and he knew the gods have blessed him with a bride,he came and took her to his tent but she kept telling she wasn`t there to wed she wanted to warn them about an attack on there planet, she waned him to talk but he couldn`t with his mask on so she took it off,except in doing that told him that she excepted him,and would marry him, he lift her tie
him up and she thought why not she never touched a man before and this was her chance to do that,
the next morning when fhe was to marry his she told the king she wasn`t there to marry and a attack was coming to there planet
and she kept talking and talking,the king had enough,he let her smell the yellow flower and she went to sleep,the king said take her home and when every thing is good come back.
she didn`t know what happened to her sister,cause she was hiding from them,but she knew she didn`t have a way off the planet so she knew she would get cought sooner or later,,i don`t want to go to far cause now it gets really good,and i know you will enjoy see what her sister got both of them into,you must buy and read it its really good.
Fate indeed had strange plans for Kendal Haven, daughter of a drunken gambler she finds herself “repossessed” to pay for his gambling debts. Locked in stasis, she has lost all sense of time and place until she wakes up on the Galaxy Brides ship headed for Quilixen. Alek, second Duke of Draig is attending his fifth Breeding Festival but has given up all hope of finding his mate, what he finds is Kendall trying to hide in the forest and takes her back to his tent because he is afraid to have her go through the receiving line and lose her now that his crystal glows. He returns to her after the procession and ends up rescuing her from being repossessed again. They have incredible chemistry, perhaps too good, and they break tradition by exploring each other a little too much! But even with that she insists she cannot stay and asks help to find transport off the planet, he makes her a deal; finish the ceremony and become his wife and he’ll find her transport to her home. Unfortunately he fails to explain what it means for him to marry him and leave, he also fails to explain how he feels for her. Of course she is not much better with the explanations, only stating she has to leave never why she needs to leave; to save her sister from being given as payment for gambling debts as she was. Just on the brink of losing her, all the miscommunication and misunderstandings unravel as they finally learn to talk and realize they cannot leave each other, so he promises her to do whatever it takes to find Margot even if it means leaving his beloved home, as long as he has Kendall. I love Alek! He is such an alpha male it is almost funny how clueless he is dealing with Kendall!
